We will purchase domain for you, as you order its maintenance from us. Purchasing a domain for 3 years will cost you 56 euros trough us.

When you order DNS from us, you can apply for domain from FICORA yourself: www.domain.fi.

How to renew FI-domain

Fi-domain is valid for 1, 3 or 5 years. Renewing isn’t part of our contract. You can renew your domain in FICORA’s domain service by paying the renewal fee at: www.domain.fi. You won’t need account. The price of renewal is also found there. You’ll receive a notification about renewal well in time from FICORA.

How to terminate your fi-domain service

You can terminate your domain name prior to the expiration of the validity period. Domain can only be terminated by its holder, so you’ll have to do it yourself at: https://domain.fi/info/en/index/yllapito/irtisanominen.html . Termination of domain is free.

Transfer of domain name to new holder

If you wish to transfer your domain name to another holder, you can do it at FICORA’s website. In the first phase a transfer agreement is given and a transfer key is created. How to update your contact information

We will update your information for you, if domain isn’t linked with your account in FICORA’s domain service. Updating the information costs 25 € (incl. VAT). If your contact information has changed, notify us at helpdesk@easylinehost.fi and we’ll update your information. You should keep your information up-to-date, because all issues will be sent to addresses you have set. Old or incorrect information can risk your right to fi-domain.

Why do you need Domain Name Server (DNS)

Domain Name Servers convert your domain to address. Without a DNS defined to domain, your www-pages cannot be found in the internet, and your email won’t work.

Authorization key

Authorization key Every domain has its own authorization key. An authorization key in a number, and will be sent to you with the domain name decision. You can authorize us to make changes to your domain by giving your authorization key for ous use. If you have applied fi-domain yourself or already linked it with your account, you’ll see your authorization key from your domain information.
